In the port of Camaret, our family-run establishment has been welcoming guests since 1939. People come here to take in the view, breathe in the sea air, and experience Camaret: the quays, the heritage, and the starting points for walks to the Crozon Peninsula, in the heart of Finistère. Here, the day follows the rhythm of the port: in the morning, the light glides across the water; in the evening, the atmosphere settles and time slows down.

Le Styvel combines a boutique hotel with a restaurant: the perfect place to stay and enjoy good food, facing the Vauban Tower and the quays. You’ll find the same attention to detail everywhere: a warm, family-style welcome, a house steeped in history, and a simple way to enjoy Camaret-sur-Mer, without any fuss.

The hotel is approved for visually impaired guests and has special arrangements in place for accommodating guests with reduced mobility.

LOCAL BRETON CUISINE

We specialise in traditional Breton cuisine, featuring seasonal produce and seafood from the Finistère coast. Depending on the catch of the day, we prepare fresh fish such as line-caught sea bass, as well as the classics for which the coast is renowned: seafood platters, langoustines, scallops and Breton lobster.

The restaurant and terrace offer unobstructed views of Camaret Harbour, with the Vauban Tower in the background: the setting complements the food. And to accompany your meal, you’ll naturally find classic Breton ingredients, such as lightly salted butter, buckwheat, and a Cornouaille AOP cider.
